True story: V.J's PR contacted me two years ago asking if I was available to travel in the U.S with her doing hair and makeup for her appearances; I had just moved back to Singapore so I wasn't available. Whoever is working with her is doing a gorgeous job!

The Misses

 Actress Shailene Woodley, sorry but hair you would do your laundry in is never red carpet worthy. I know this is MTV and not the Oscar's but really? REALLY!?? A simple slicked back chignon would have saved the day.

Television personality Amy Paffrath, oy. Too much. Her hair looks bridal; that's not a compliment. Not a fan of the silvery-white brow bone colour either; perhaps if it was all blended a little more I wouldn't trash it as much. Her skin does look lovely so it's not all bad.

Another angle... still not a fan of the hair - her makeup looks a little better. Sometimes it's all about getting the right angle but for red carpet, it should be fabulous from any angle. Hello 360 degree fashion AND beauty mirror.

Now, I want to love this, but I am not sure. Always daring to sport a hat but it's a little too 80s Bronkski Beat / 'Til Tuesday / Boy George...maybe that was the point? If so - Yay! It worked. Flawless skin. Her pink lipstick is gorge!
