Adesign Dual Fiber & Natrafil makeup brushes

By Andrea Claire · November 3, 2012 · 0 Comments ·

Adesign sent me a plethora of their new brushes to take for a test run. After playing with their Dual Fiber and Natrafil brushes more I can tell you how truly impressed I am. There are so many makeup brushes available and I have collected and used hundreds over the years, so to see more hit the market you do think: 'What could possibly change or add to my kit?' - but I am a believer that in our creative industry there is always R&D which equates to new and fabulous products! You know what else is fabulous? The Adesign prices!!! Completely affordable! Stock up easily whether a pro, newbie or a beauty addict and as we pros believe - great tools are the true foundation of great makeup!

Love them all but so I am not providing you with a term paper on brushes - my two faves:

Made with Natrafil, $10.00 USD.

The Natrafil Contour - an effortless blend! I love that the hairs can pick up the shadow from your pan without the need of constantly adding more and the blend is so smooth. Actually - my regular contouring brush fave had me dipping back and forth from pan to eye to create the crease I wanted but with this one I didn't feel the need to keep returning to my pan for more colour - one dip was all I needed!

Natrafil 8-piece collection, $65 USD

*Natrafil is a revolutionary fiber used for applying both liquid and dry based products. Designed to perform like high grade natural hair, this fiber delivers the ability to apply, blend and set a full range of color and skin products.

Made with grade 'A' goat hair & high grade synthetic, $15.00 USD!!!

The Finishing Contour - I use this brush to blend my fave cream bronzer with my fave peachy/pink blush topped off with a smidge of a highlight - a signature of mine that if you peruse my portfolio you know I love that look - a seamless, luminous finish.

Complexion Set, $50 USD

Adesign really does great brushes! I have their Complexion Set too - great for the artist who has an anal retentive attention to skin/base detail which should be every artist but it's not... shame shame.

TIP: The pointed concealer brush makes an amazing lip brush!

NOTE: the Dual Fiber and Natrafil brushes were sent to me gratis for my review and opinion - the Complexion Set I purchased on my own. My opinions are honest - if I didn't truly like them I would tell you. Frankly, I am shocked at the reasonable prices for the amazing quality that you get in these brushes.

[ps: Christmas is around the corner.... great prezzie suggestion alert!]

Hi!The Finishing Contour is good for applying light but uniformly blush or bronzer?I just wanna swip the blush(or bronzer) on my cheeks and go to work.

Hi Anon!

Yes but this one works like a dream too. It will give you more of a diffused application: http://www.sephora.com/pro-bronzer-brush-48-P313015

The contour brush you can turn using the narrow edge to create a contour, then turn it again to the wider edge to blend.

Hope this helps.
