Let me tell you off the top that a Baby Quasar device was given to me to use and review.

What is it? A device that uses SequePulse technology, the Baby Quasar gently pulses four wavelengths of light to increase circulation, thereby diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and discoloration. From the comfort and privacy of your home, Baby Quasar light-based skin care diminishes the visible signs of aging! From SkinStore

Let me also tell you that this... is the bare face of 40. Hair tied back, face freshly cleansed.

No botox. I know. Shocking.

But, I am no spring chicken. And no matter how fab my skincare, I am starting to see signs of aging here and there. What's a girl... er... woman to do?!

Defy gravity.

I play this game with my husband where I pull my face up and say: "This looks better right"

He usually says: "Shut up" then he leaves the room.

Dude! That's not an answer!

A Baby Quasar device was offered to me. Well, tons of facials, creams and serums can only do so much... YES PLEASE! I'll try!

How it works:

Using red and infrared light technology, the Baby Quasar is a medical grade device that is used to help fight the signs of aging. You used to only get this special treatment at Doctors' offices or spas.

The device has three settings that you can set depending on your skin's needs and level of sensitivity. Use is 2-3 times a week and your spa-at-home sessions can take up to 36 minutes. My arms did feel like they were going to fall off after the first session but I only see good from this: a)  I will look younger with better skin texture, smoother and more firm and b) a little toning in my arms.

I sat in bed while doing the treatments. My most recent treatment was while writing a blog for *hint* I'm holding a beauty box...

FACT: My first treatment my skin already felt tighter. I started seeing results after 2 treatments.

Is this a 2-3 times a week device for life? No. After about 6 months or longer (depending upon skin type, age, diet, lifestyle) your face will obtain the optimum results for rejuvenation. After this time, using the device 3 times a month will help to maintain the process you have generated.

As per the instructions you do not want to put the device directly over your eyes or look directly into the light.  There are no studies out there about damage, but it is of course recommended to follow the BQ instructions.

Now since I have just started using the Baby Quasar I wanted to show you the pictures of me at the beginning. They look like webcam photos because they are.

Here is a recent-ish photo of me on-set so you aren't left with the webcam images. [Us crazy fashion people! See what we were shooting here]

Check back to see my BQ results. I'll do a quick post here and there so you can see how young I'm lookin'!

This Baby packs a punch! Other uses: Relieves pain in muscles, joints, and skin resulting from arthritis, sprains, strains, and similar injuries.
