At my age you would think that I have mastered washing my face.

To cleanse your skin use your skin brush for normal skin. I actually find that this has me using LESS product as the vibrating applicator spreads it around better than my fingertips.

Exfoliation and moisturizing steps are done with the same applicator, just rinse the exfoliator off really well.
