At Home Brazilian Blow Out

Who better to test out a DIY boxed Brazilian blow out but a trained professional ? C'est moi!

Andrea Claire, licensed hairstylist since 1993, lent her hair to science.

Using the Garnier Fructis Blow Dry Perfector, I wanted to see if the claims are true.

FACT:

Yes. It is a chemical treatment.

It is mild. My hair still feels like hair.

I certainly have fuller, smoother hair as the claim states.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that my ends that looked like they were in need of trimming seemed to be temporarily smoothed out which would indicate a temporary split end fix. [I must say here that a permanent fix on split ends is called a haircut]

Would I do this again? Yes!

WOW. Do you think this product would impact hair that is treated with permanent color? Thanks for this demo!!!!

Norah,

You can use this on colour treated hair BUT it can't be damaged.

I have thick, longer hair. Would I have to get two boxes to do my whole head, as with at home hair color?

Hi Andi,

Yes. You are right. Thicker, longer hair needs two boxes. You may just need one and a half. As long as you don't mix the ingredients together, what you don't use you can save for the next time.
For example, mix 1/2 of the colour and 1/2 of the developer together into a separate container other than what the company supplies, seal the originals for next time.

Let me know if this isn't clear - sometimes I have a way of writing that only I understand. Smiling

Can we do this at our next appointment plus colour?

Yes! But you need to order it as it's not available in Singapore.
