This is Sage on prom night. Well, her eye anyway.
Want to get this look? Super simple.
Step 1:
Benefit Cosmetics Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Birthday Suit $19.00 USD at Ulta
Base your lid to brow-bone with a champagne coloured cream shadow
Use this brush:
gloTools - Eye Base Brush $17.50 USD at DERMSTORE
Step 2:

I used Mink Stole [top right] from the Ben Nye Essential Eye Shadow palette. (yes, this is essential! LOVE it!)
Apply a contour in your crease with your eye open looking directly into the mirror. Why looking into the mirror? Every women needs to 'cheat' their crease, applying with your eyes open will give you accuracy on placement.
Use this brush:
NARS Wide Contour Brush $33.00 USD at Barneys New York [sorry - the images from ShopStyle are squishing them for some reason... hope OnSugar sorts it out but hit the link to see it clearer.]
Step 3:

Apply a highlight to the brow bone and inner corner of the eye. My kit stable for this: MAC Cosmetics Shroom eyeshadow it suits many skin tones. For darker skin or if you prefer a more golden hue, use MAC's Grain eyeshadow
Use this brush or your finger works too:
Eyeshadow Blender Brush $18.00 USD at The Body Shop
Step 4:
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner- Black Ink $22.00 USD at Barneys New York
Apply a thin layer of gel liner working from the outside in. I prefer Bobbi Brown's gel liner. I have tried MANY; hers is by far the best. You can of course extend the end into a wing-tip. For symmetry and precision try a little piece of surgical tape or Shadow Shields as your guide. You can see me do this on my YAHOO! Glam Up! show. [hint: watch the one on eyeliners]
Use this brush:
SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Angled Eyeliner Brush #23 $15.00 USD at Sephora
This is the BEST to use with gel liners. Trust me!
Step 5:
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Mascara $22.00 USD at Sephora
MASCARA! You can opt for fake lashes. Sage doesn't need them, they're real!
*Notice I do have a hint of bronze shimmer under her eye. Just a little to pop her eye colour. I used one from the Urban Decay Naked palette.
Groom your brows for sure by combing them. Filling them in is up to you. I am not a fan of chiseled drag queen brows on women, my advice if you are looking for more definition use a brow shade slightly lighter than your brow and soften the edges with a Q-Tip. If you love drag queen brows, then you rock it, Sister!
Our photo-ops apres hair & makeup were cut short due to the fact that I am a bad mother as I had to rush and pack after Sage's prom hair & makeup session to catch the red-eye to Paris! This image above was seconds before me running up to pack... I might have had one foot in the door actually... total opposite of the Tiger Mom...
