This is a behind the seams photo I took yesterday with my HTC One X. I may have an eye for angles but lighting and overlaying treatments are not my forte; enter Instagram! I don't know about you but when they introduced Instagram for Android I did a little happy dance. I was seething with jealousy seeing all the fancy photos friends and peers were faking taking with their iPhones.

Ta da! Now my friends can be green with envy.

The glorious head piece is by Vivien Sheriff that super stylist Furqan Saini pullled. [He promises a website soon so I could link him in all my posts]

Our model Dasha aka Maty is with Looque models in Singapore (she's wearing a wig - I have A LOT of wigs). She has GREAT skin and great hair under the wig.

I also mixed in a little MAC Dubonnet. I layered the lipsticks on top of her lips that I blotted out first with foundation. I chose to blot out her lips first to create the feeling of soft lips as if a painting on canvas.

Watch this space for the full editorial once it drops taken by an actual photographer *wink*  and it won't remotely look like this... although I do like my Instagramtastic image.

One my Facebook I was joking that Instagram needs a George Whiteside Photography app as this reminds me of his style a little... or even Kint Quon.

Instagram should pair up with photographers for special edition apps that are reflective of their style... hmmmm.... someone send me royalties for that idea... Copyright Andrea Claire July 11, 2012! ;)
