Not 100% naked like a Prince may be, just nearly there...

Barely there makeup still needs some effort however, it would take less time to apply it than reading this article that I wrote for Motherhood magazine.

Please note: on page 2 "...using a cream blush apply blush after foundation but before setting powder, otherwise it will spill and streak." Spill should read pill as when you see pilling on your sweaters. The only thing that could spill would be a bottle of liquid or maybe my champagne did as I wrote the article and therefore accidentally wrote spill...

I'm sure you notice my love for Benefit's Creaseless Cream shadows! I mention them all the time in my blog, my articles and I own all the shades in my kit that I paid for FULL PRICE. Certainly the love is not shared with their PR department in Singapore who, despite my trying to reach out to them, constantly do not respond... I give up! But I do love the product! Birthday Suit is an amazing base colour for all - I tend to use it as a primer for all eye shadow.

Tom Ford Beauty order via Neiman Marcus but rumour has it that it is coming to Singapore (for those who are based on this tropical island like me)

Becca get via Escentials or Luxola

FACE atelier via Luxola

Dermalogica

Josie Maran & Smashbox via Sephora (oh, another company that is like pulling teeth to connect with in Singapore...actually; I'd rather pull my teeth)

Bobbi Brown is at Tangs

Majolica Majorca and L'Oreal is at Watsons

Here is a selection of my latest editorial work

boatman: part of a 4 page beauty spread for ALEXIS magazine, shot by Alvin Tang.

On the nails I used MINX Gold Lightning. Hot right?

These nails were a Deborah Lippmann colour.  Luxola gave me a selection of polish for my spreads.

Yes - I did the makeup too. Hair was taken care of by the cold pool of water; poor thing almost left with hypothermia. Glam life of a model. (We tried to keep her warm but blow-dryers near pools make people nervous)

Entrevue shot by Chuck Reyes for ALEXIS magazine

[I'm getting emails inquiring about the shine on her cheek: a combo of Soap & Glory's Solar Powder with Jemma Kidd All Over Dewy Glow and Alvin's wicked lighting]

This series I used human hair extensions that I had coloured. Since I live in Singapore this type of hair colour is not easy to find. I tried contacting hair colour companies to ask them if they could provide me with the crazy colours I needed to colour the hair. No one emailed me back... well being a creative genius *cough* I used fabric dye to prep the hair. DYLON is the fabric dye that I used. I caution you if you get the idea to attempt this on your own hair: some of the human hair pieces turned like cotton candy. I did NOT pre-bleach them. If you want this on your own hair get some MANIC PANIC.

Zorbing shot by Wei Shen Tan for ALEXIS magazine

Oh yea! I did the cover too! Shot by Chuck Reyes. The spreads are not one page long so if you want to see the full editorial spreads grab your copy of ALEXIS at various stores in Singapore or for international orders, online at ALEXIS Magazine dot com

We joked that this was the 'Andrea' issue. It's kind of like my new revamped portfolio. [Thanks ALEXIS!]

Speaking of jeanius, a denim story in Seventeen Singapore, January issue creative direction Furqan Saini, photography Alecia Neo.

I used the same fabirc-dyed hair extentions for a splash of blue.

When I was home in Canada for a month I bought some Sally Hansen denim nail strips, if you look close you can see them. Man, nails have certainly gone to the next level haven't they?

PS - also in one of my latest bodies of work there was the work I did on the web series: Orphan. Check that out here.
