"Can you imagine the things we complain about?" Angelina in the LV video below.

Yes, like this campaign.

I love Angelina. I think she's stunning. I like a lot of her acting. [Girl, Interrupted was one of my faves], I stuck up for Angie's right leg but this...

I only saw this recently in a magazine currently on the new-stands but this campaign was shot last year.

I've been to Cambodia. I own an LV but I would have felt embarrassed to carry my Louis Vuitton handbag around there.

[BTW: I saved someone's life who bought me a Louis Vuitton as a passionate thank you, which I will cherish forever]

I get it. Angelina has done a lot for Cambodia and other countries. She has certainly given back and used her celebrity to create awareness but unless you dig deep, the print ad for LV shows a lovely, romantic setting in Cambodia.

Here is the romance you don't see:

This little girl living in the Floating Villages was watching her baby sibling while jumping on and off the boats begging for money, but thank god we are selling high end handbags.

On the steps of Angkor Wat you get surrounded by children selling bracelets and other touristy trinkets hoping for money. They are pretty smart too. I remember one little girl saying 'Canada?!' and then recited our current Prime Minister, maple syrup and a few other known Canadian trivia.

I would hope that Louis Vuitton is giving a percentage of sales to Cambodia. Are they??

More people in the world will own a Louis Vuitton than travel to Cambodia. I don't know this as fact, just an educated guess.

"Cambodia has a problem of sex tourism involving children. Some children are sold by their own parents. Others are lured by what they think are legitimate job offers like waitressing, but then are forced into prostitution. Children are often held captive, beaten, and starved to force them into prostitution. Human Trafficking in Cambodia is a crime. The Royal Cambodian Government was placed in the Tier 2 Watch List in the 2007 U.S. Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons Report for not fully complying with the Trafficking Victims Protection Act’s minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking but making significant efforts to do so.Wiki

"Hagar Cambodia provides quality aftercare to 25 girls who have been rescued from situations of sex trafficking and other forms of sexual abuse and exploitation in Cambodia.
