and little me on the Nylon contributors' page One itty-bitty thing: I did a guest appearance on Asia's Next Top Model for TRESemme as a hairstylist not a makeup artist. Not sure why they edited my bio to read makeup artist for Asia's NTM.
You may laugh at the recognition that I styled the hair on this shoot but you can't ignore hair just because a model is lying in a pool - although - yes, not a high stress hair shoot.
We shot this last year and as I said - a little difficult to track down the PDF or hard copy of the magazine. Brendan sent me the images. Sharing is caring. Without having the actual tears means I don't have my credits for what I used - BUT (don't cha love a big but?) I have some consistency of what I use in my work:

Urgh. Totally forget... Sorry Dudettes - I was playing more with OCC Lip Tars (available in Singapore atBellaBox) at this time so it may be a Givenchy Lipliner(LOVE them) with a Lip Tar...

If you watch the behind the seams video you will realize that it was a windy day in Paris and hairspray was a waste of time so I stopped using it at one point. I could have chosen to shellac her hair in place but I personally love movement in the hair and loading up on hair products gives the hair a helmet effect; that is not how I do hair, I prefer effortless beauty. Tres chic.

Imagine the local fish market stall owner's surprise when I asked him for fish skin. I tried to explain that it was for a photoshoot.
Not sure where I come up with my ideas. Pretty sure it's either a) from tequila or b) sleepless thinking of shoots, beauty and art.

Note: The pinkish/red nails were a MINX knock off I found in Far East Plaza in Singapore.

I can't wait to see the editorial in print. Still after 20 years of being in the biz I get anxious waiting for issues to drop - I have limited patience.
